1/2-05-2010     IARU 2nd Subregional test

It was amazing contest.
I was QRV on 144MHz in JO82KL 135m ASL + 9m AGL, with Icom ic-275A (ONLY 25W!) and my new antenna (many thanks for Justin) 9el OWL G0KSC 12dBD. QSO:157; Points: 65207 ODX: HB9GT 803km AVG QRB: 415km
I heard many DX stations.

Great conditions to DL, poor to 9A, first time log without 9A... big signals from HA stations, not so many OK stations in log.
I made lot of audio records, soon will be published.   Gallery

24-02-2010     SR3PO Repeater

SR3PO JO82LJ 80m ASL + 45m AGL
After failure of our old local repeater we decided to update hardware.
Configuration:
TX: motorola mcs2000; 10W out, 10m H-1000 (439,2MHz CTCSS 210,7Hz)
RX: motorola gm1200; 10m H-1000 (431,6MHz CTCSS 210,7Hz)
Antenna EP X-300 (9dBi 5x5/8)
And our old Siemens duplexer. I tunned it on spectrum analyzer.

20-02-2010     New beacons in this year.

In this year we will activate three new beacons (23cm & 6cm & 3cm).
Beacons will be mounted in JO82KL about 90m agl in the same location as SR3VHX at 100m AGL + 105m ASL.
SR3LHD 1296,971MHz pwr 1W & ant Helix 6dB (tnx to DJ6EP & SP3WYP)
SR3CHL 5760,860MHz pwr 1W & ant slot (tnx to OK1AIY & SP6GWN)
SR3XH? 10368,9??MHz pwr 1W (tnx to DL6NCI)

14-11-2009     New beacon SR3LHD QRV !.

SR3LHD JO82LJ 1296,97MHz 1W
Today we mount new beacon made by Roman DJ6EP & Michał SP3WYP.
It is mounted on roof of 10th floor building in Poznan City, about 45m AGL + 75m ASL.
It has power about 1W and antenna is Helix about 6dB? (omni horizontal).
In future, after tests, we are planning add amplifier 5-10W and move it to better location (sr3vhx).

5/6-09-2009     IARU VHF test '09!.

SO3Z JO82KL 118 QSO | 48774 points | avg 413km/qso | 42 squares | 13 DXCC
QRV 144MHz with Ic-275A, 25W, 2x 10el DK7ZB @ 9m AGL + 140m ASL
I worked without 230V, only from 12V accumulator. Also PC&internet only for about 3 hours. I had big rain in saturday, strong wind also all the time.
Tropo conditions were unstable. Very poor to West. Good and variable to South from JO82.
I heard 9A1W, 9A1B, 9A2LX, S52XA, S58M, S53A, PI9A, DR5A, HG7F, HA2R, HG1W, HG3A, OE8GVK/3, OE5MKO, UW5Y,
and two Italy stations, and few OK&DL stations also. TXT info     QSO MAP     PHOTOS     SEND LOGS

14-05-2009    My new contest callsign SO3Z - 'sierra oscar three zulu'

Today I send the papers for my new contest callsign, now waiting for reply.

2/3-05-2009    2nd IARU test '09!.

141 QSO | 59230 points | avg 420km/qso | 50 squares | 12 DXCC
I worked only on 144MHz as usual from JO82KL at my contest hill 140m ASL.
First time with power amplifier 150W and with 3x 7el DK7ZB Yagi vertical stacked.
This antenna is great solution, low elevation angle, stable tropo signals... Realy loud this time PI4GN 9A4M DK0BN and all HA stations.
I hope I will try also 4x 7el Lightweight yagi next time.
I have been visited by Tomasz SQ3LVD, He helped me erect the antenna system - Many thanks Tom!
Before erect the mast I made a mistake, and I couldn't turn my antenna dir north... also in first day I had only two 12V accumulator, need 3.
And first day had only 50W, at 3.05 I had full power 150W. First time worked YO from KN06 station on tropo.
I must check my handwritten log again.
I hope it will be enough for place in first fifth in Single Operator in SP.
